I am a queer feminist relational therapist, that utilizes a variety of treatment modalities based on your needs, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, and Expressive Art Therapies.
I specialize in the treatment of:
I work collaboratively with partners to identitfy strengths and address relational challenges, in the aim of improving communication and emotional fluency, building intimacy, and establishing goals for maintaining the health of the relationship. I work with partners in all relationship structures, including monogamous, non-monogamous, polyamorous, and other creative family frameworks.
Additionally, if partners decide that the relationship needs to end, I work with folks to navigate the dissolution of the relationship in a healthy, intentional way, in an effort to minimize harm and maximize health.
We often know we need/want to make a change long before we are ready to to implement it. I will support you in identifying goals, creating achievable objectives, and utilizing cognitive exercises to maintain the desired change.
This process could include improving relational boundaries and ending negative relationship patterns; examining and changing your relationship to food; committing to movement & exercise; healthcare maintenance, or other significant life changes.
I believe that all genders are valid and should be expressed authentically. I also acknowledge that transition is often a significant change for an individual and the people that love them, and am honored to help navigate and support this process.
I work to fight institutional gate-keeping, and provide clinical documentation for medical transition as expeditiously as possible.
Sex and intimacy are beautifully complex, and can be highly fraught. I provide resources and support with issues related to sexuality, including sexual dysfunction, difficulty with intimacy, exploring roles and boundaries, navigating sexual trauma, and building deeper mind-body connection.
